The Gabriel Group is off to an enthusiastic start this year with many families returning after the long summers break. It’s thrilling to see the changes that have taken place in the children.
New teeth here, a bit of potty training there, some walking now, some sitting and some here who were in-utero before.
Everyone so pleased to see each other and also relieved to have the rhythm of attending the group back in their week.
All have come with fresh energy and many ideas surfaced as to the direction of the group. We all agree that the sharing of stories and the feeling of support that arises from those conversations is of the utmost importance. For some, there is a longing for some study aspect (such a treat to use one’s intellect occasionally) and for more practical activities such as doll making, food for toddlers and songs and stories for young children.
The group is growing in number, strength and love. It has progressed from its shy budding phase and is now really beginning to flower.
